About Saldaea
Saldaea lies in the north-west of the Westlands, between the Aryth Ocean and Kandor, with the Blight along its northern border. Its capital is Maradon, near the head of the Arinelle river.
Saldaeans are known for light cavalry, hot tempers and steady loyalty. Davram Bashere and his daughter Faile are among the Saldaeans who play major roles, and the false Dragon Mazrim Taim first rose here.
Spoiler note: this guide mentions events up to The Great Hunt.
