Whitebridge lies south-east of Emond's Field, about 310 miles (500 km) away as the crow flies. It is part of Andor.
About Whitebridge
Whitebridge stands where the Arinelle meets the Manetherendrelle, which makes it an important port for river traffic between Saldaea in the north and Illian in the south. Its famous white bridge is a relic of the Age of Legends that looks as if it was made from a single piece of shining material.
Rand and Mat arrive here by boat after escaping Shadar Logoth. A Myrddraal finds them in the town, and Thom Merrilin stays behind to fight it so the two young men can run. From Whitebridge they continue on foot along the Caemlyn Road.
