About Amador
Amador is the royal city of Amadicia, a kingdom west of the Mountains of Mist where channeling is outlawed. Officially a king rules here, but real power belongs to the Children of the Light, whose Fortress of the Light dominates the city.
The Lord Captain Commander of the Whitecloaks sends his Children across the Westlands from Amador. Their hostility toward Aes Sedai makes Amadicia one of the most dangerous places in the series for anyone who can touch the One Power.
